We started in 2016 with a simple frustration: every app we tried was bloated, noisy, and built to steal attention rather than respect it. So a small team of designers and engineers set out to make something calmer, faster, and genuinely useful.

Eight years later we're still independent and still obsessed with the details — the haptic on a completed task, the way a chart animates, the speed of cold start. Those small things are why millions of people open us every single day.
